PH Property Holdings (PH Homes) is a Cheshire-based luxury home developer. They build in some of the most prestigious and sought-after areas of South Manchester and Cheshire. The locations that can provide the lifestyle demanded by their discerning clients. As a company, their website is the forefront of their marketing and their most valuable asset, it’s their main outlet for showcasing property developments and the individual homes available to buy.
The Brief
- Create a stylish, lifestyle property development website
- Create a user friendly interface that has synergy with their brand
- Simplify previous over-complicated functions
- Improve ease of administration in all areas but retain functionality
- Make use of new full screen photos and video banners
- Bring the home page to life with video
- Include new features such as top down maps displaying available properties.
- Utilise Woocommerce for their products (homes)
- Ensure the site reflects the ethos of PH Properties
- Ensure site is built to a high level of SEO and design standards.

Our Approach
The main concern from our client was that they were unable to easily edit and add content to their old site, they were bound by the limited pre-made layouts with no visual editor. We ensured their new site now has an easy to use page editor, their new properties can be added and managed as simple shop products. We set up flexible templates and ‘blocks’ for them to use throughout the site and ensured that new property developments can be added and managed with ease.
We drafted in a CSS and PHP/Javascript developer to support with the extensive amount of customisation needed to make sure the site not only functioned well for them but also looked and functioned exactly as they required.
The plug-ins that run the top down map and property product filtering were also customised so that they operated exactly to their requirements.
The Results
We were proud to launch the PH Properties flagship website in 2022 and have had nothing but great feedback about it. Since it’s launch, we have set up several new property developments on the site and put it’s ‘ease of use’ into practice. In terms of styling and functionality, there has been nothing to hold us back. The new flexible layouts allow complete control over what content goes where. We can easily add several homes at a time ensuring an efficient process. The site has been flexible to any changes in their business needs.
