Kays Locations is an online portal showcasing filming locations across the UK. The platform allows people to register their own property as a potential filming location as well as allow Location Managers to search and find suitable properties. Planet Amazing oversaw the UI & UX design for the entire project which consisted of a public facing website with sign up forms and a bespoke CMS admin panel design.
VIEW PROJECTGeoRush answers the prayers of kite surfers everywhere. It tackles the water sport’s biggest bugbear – bad weather. A revolutionary application crunches reams of data, including wind speed, water temperature and swell, to give the most accurate rating system yet of nearly one thousand kitesurfing destinations. The project was custom built and maintained by Source[Lab]. We provided creative input and designed the GeoRush user interface.
We created the brand and the user interface for the popular online auction market place, Vivid Bid. We looked at other similar sites to find they were all cluttered or not mobile friendly. It was essential that the Vivid Bid website was clean, minimal and the focus being solely on the products available for auction. We produced both desktop and mobile designs, both requiring careful planning and attention to detail.
Working along side Ruby on Rails development company Source[Lab], we offered our creative and UI design for their client MTS Sulby. The product is an administration dashboard which allows university staff to allocate support workers to students. We ensured the product was clean, flat and had style consistency throughout. We designed the full system to brief and ensured the inteface was easy and intuative to use.
