The software, themes and plug-ins that help to run your WordPress website require regular attention to be updated. Mostly for performance and security reasons. We estimate that it takes at least one hour per month to perform these tasks, ensuring updates are compatible with your website. We also ensure that your site is auto-backed up securely on a daily basis. In addition to basic website support we offer bespoke marketing packages. Website support FAQs

How do I start a support package?

Simply select a package from the table above, it will add the first payment into the shopping cart. You just need to make the purchase as you would with any online shop. You will be emailed a confirmation receipt and next month your next payment will be taken automatically.

Why do I need to take a support package?

All WordPress websites run on many plug-ins, themes and software. These regularly need updating for security and improved performance. We estimate it takes us 1 hour per month per website to do the very basic updates with compatibility checks. 

How is the package billed?

Your support package will be billed on a monthly rolling subscription (no contract). If you wish to cancel then you log into your account dashboard and cancel the subscription. You can also update your billing details. Each month when the payment is taken, a receipt will be emailed to you.

Can I manage my own site?

Yes of course! If you are not looking for any support in keeping your site up-to-date then we will prepare a ‘handover document’ containing your admin credentials so that you can continue with the responsibility of your website.

What if I have multiple sites?

When you add a package to the basket you can change the quantity according to how many sites you have. This effectively creates an ongoing subscription for each site. If you wish to add another site at a later date you simply create a new order for each site. All subscriptions are managed from your account dashboard. Please note: we only support sites that we have built.

What is compatibility checking?

Before we do any updates we ensure the site is backed up, we then check if any updates are going to be compatible so as not to damage your site. Once the updates are done we then check to see if everything works as it should.

How does the time allocation work?

If you take the Essentials Plus package we include 2 hours of web design or content changes per month. This also includes time allocated to answer any project queries or carry out any tasks on your site. Any additional time is billed as normal. Any unused time can’t be carried over to the next month.

What is Rocket Fuel?

Rocket Fuel is an ongoing marketing package that will boost your project into the stratosphere. We’ll create a bespoke package that works for you and we’ll agree a schedule/time allocation that suits your budget. You will have access to many of the services within the Rocket Fuel section of our website.
